Yet another reason to stay the heck away from Capital One.

 

 

Obviously, they are not the only credit company using shady fine line of the law practices.  While I would never in a million years give a credit card company my email in the first place, this is just one more thing that prove they don't really care much about the customer.  They simply want your money.  This is just one more reason that I will do my very best to never never give another penny to another credit company as long as I live.  They are simply loan sharks who have managed to lobby legislation that keeps them from being on the wrong side of the law.

 

I happily carry a wallet free from plastic.  It forces me to make decisions based on the money I have rather than the money someone is willing to lend me.  It makes the retailer have to work a little harder to get my money with things like service and quality, etc.  I am not as willing to part with money that is actually mine in the present.  I truly believe that our inability to give up our plastic and our willingness to spend money that we do not have inflates prices and keeps the rich getting richer off our stupidity.  Let the rich folks buy over priced under value items.  They don't seem to always be the sharpest knives in the drawer anyway and they certainly are not buying anything on credit.
